The Syrian Foreign Ministry commented on the Israeli air strikes in the Syrian province of Hama.

“Syria reaffirms its inalienable right to defend the sovereignty of its territories and liberate the occupied lands by all legitimate means in accordance with international law,” the statement said, TASS reports.
Israeli airstrikes on the Syrian town of Masyaf have killed 15 people.
According to The Times of Israel, the strikes could have targeted Iranian facilities in Syria, including an Iranian missile production base.
