War in UkraineWorld

The world is playing nuclear dice: there will be no winners

It must be admitted that the human mind has come up with the idea of how it is possible to destroy the entire planet Earth using the stored energy of the Universe (nuclear war). The World Mind, if it exists, for some reason allowed and opened such a possibility? Is it within the control of the World Mind to curb such a dangerous decision by the human mind?

Apparently the World Mind has this mechanism. Is it really connected only with the fear of the human mind?

I recently took a deep dive into the futurological research of Nobel Prize laureate Ira Helfand on how a nuclear war would develop if it started.

Not only politicians, but also scientists are talking about the possibility of a third world war using nuclear weapons.

Ira Helfand suggested that if the current conflict goes beyond the borders of Ukraine, then a war between Russia and NATO will begin, involving nuclear military forces and an exchange of nuclear strikes. Moreover, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres also recognized the possibility of nuclear war.

According to research by Ira Helfand, Russia currently has 3.5 thousand nuclear warheads. America has 1.7 thousand ready-to-use nuclear weapons at its disposal. Also, about 400 warheads are kept by US NATO partners. This is not enough to destroy all life on Earth, but the consequences will be catastrophic.

According to the scientist, as a result of the explosion of a nuclear bomb with a yield of 100 kilotons over Moscow, about 250 thousand people will die. If the same bomb hits Washington, about 170 thousand people will die.

The essence of a nuclear war is the exchange of nuclear strikes between countries. That is, if Russia launches a nuclear strike on the United States, America will certainly strike back, and vice versa. Of course, information about where the strikes will be carried out is kept secret. However, according to experts, the United States has four scenarios for striking Russia (Major Attack Option, or MAO).

If the war follows the first two scenarios (MAO-1 or MAO-2), Moscow will not be attacked. The targets will be areas where warhead silos are based and locations where strategic missile forces are deployed. At the same time, military bases and airfields will be destroyed.

In addition, strikes will be carried out on air defense systems and long-range radar detection stations. Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Armavir, Murmansk, Kaliningrad and St. Petersburg may be under attack.

The enemy will also try to strike industrial cities such as Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk, Yekaterinburg and Novosibirsk. No less danger concerns cities in which naval bases are located. These include Sevastopol, Vladivostok, Severomorsk and Kaliningrad. According to some reports, Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region may also be under attack, since a large number of military units, schools and military-industrial complex enterprises are concentrated in this territory.

The third scenario is radically different from the first two, since the main target of the strikes, according to it, is Moscow. The destruction of power should undermine the morale of the army. According to this scenario, several dozen nuclear strikes will be launched against Moscow.

The fourth scenario of the third world war involves chaotic nuclear strikes on Russian territory, but with the main goal of destroying enterprises in the fuel and energy complex and the military-industrial complex. In this case, strikes could be delivered to a number of cities, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tula, Ryazan, Samara, Kurgan, Kemerovo, Barnaul, Biysk, Chita, Irkutsk, Angarsk, Ulan-Ude, Perm, Ufa, Yaroslavl, Voronezh, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Chelyabinsk, Vladivostok, etc.

It should be understood that these scenarios are only assumptions by experts, and not a plan that will necessarily be applied in the event of a conflict. However, they look quite logical, and they indicate cities that could really suffer in the event of a military conflict. It must be said that several years ago the US National Archives and Records Administration declassified the targets for nuclear strikes planned in the middle of the last century.

According to this plan, the United States was to first attack Moscow, then Nizhny Novgorod, then Samara, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Saratov. Also on the list of cities that were planned to be attacked was Kazan. Most likely, these cities are on the list of targets at the present time.

The above strike options may be relevant in the event of the outbreak of a full-scale nuclear war. However, according to experts, if Russia launches a nuclear attack on Ukraine, the US response may be limited. A warning strike could be delivered to the Arctic or even deserted Siberia. However, not everyone agrees with this opinion.

Retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges wrote in the Daily Mail that the United States would deal a “crushing blow” to the Russian military and threatened to destroy the Black Sea Fleet. True, the strike will most likely not be nuclear. However, you don’t have to be an expert to predict in this case the escalation of the conflict and ultimately a full-scale nuclear war.

According to experts, areas with low population density will be least affected. These include primarily Siberia. The villages and cities here are located at a great distance from each other, and the population density in them is very small. Even if some areas are under attack, people will be able to evacuate to safe areas.

In addition, Siberia has a natural shield – these are natural resources. It is unlikely that anyone will want to destroy and turn into a radiation zone an area rich in gold, oil and gas. Therefore, Siberian land is one of the most successful places where you can hide from a nuclear war.

Experts believe that in the event of a nuclear strike, Russia will first try to destroy US Air Force bases in Western Europe. They are located in cities such as Ramstein, Hamburg, Wiesbaden, Toulon, London, Brussels, Aviano, Vicenza, Rota, etc.

In addition, bases located on the territory of the United States will be destroyed, as a result of which San Diego, Bluffdale, San Antonio, and Fort Dallas will be under attack. The following cities can also be struck: Chicago, Pantex, Omaha, Minot, Malmstrom, Norfolk, Philadelphia and New York.

In addition, to inflict more damage, Russia may choose unconventional targets for strikes. For example, a Poseidon torpedo could be used to cause a nuclear explosion at great depths, which would cause a giant tsunami and flooding of the coastal area.

It is quite possible that the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile will also strike Yellowstone National Park, causing a supervolcano to erupt. This eruption could be catastrophic for the entire continent.

According to scientist Ira Helfand, as a result of the explosion of a 100-kiloton nuclear bomb over Moscow, about 250 thousand people will die. If the same bomb hits Washington, about 170 thousand people will die. As you can see, not the entire population of the city will die. Moreover, if you prepare in advance for a nuclear war and act correctly at the moment of a nuclear explosion, you can significantly increase your chances of survival.

However, it should be taken into account that Russian SS-18 M6 missiles have a yield of 500 to 800 kilotons. The missiles that are on combat duty on American Trident submarines have W88 warheads with a yield of 455 kilotons.

A 2002 US report stated that if just 300 of the 1,600 strategic warheads deployed by Russia were detonated over major US cities, 78 million people would die in the first half hour of the war. In addition, the entire economic infrastructure of the country will be destroyed. This means that the power grid, the Internet, the logistics system for food delivery, the transport network, the healthcare system, etc. will not work.

Simply put, everything necessary for people’s livelihoods will disappear. As a result, most of the population will die from starvation within a few months. Many experts, including Ira Helfand, agree with the report's conclusions.

Here are my comments and thoughts on the futurological views of nuclear war explored by Ira Helfand:

1. This problem lies in the problem of international actors who will make decisions aimed at curbing their international humiliation, which could lead to the destruction of the world and humanity. Obviously, humanity itself does not want this. All of humanity cannot be programmed to desire and decide on the self-destruction of the world and humanity.

2. But some world actors play dice and place bets, hoping for a lucky break. World betting games have increased (see the monograph by R. R. Garifullin, Fundamentals of Postmodern Psychology, 2015) Humanity’s gambling addiction is growing. The source of this infection is the unbridled Machine of Desires, which is fueled by the hegemon (USA) with its unbridled system of globalization-hegemonic economy, working in one “pocket” and not allowing wisdom and a mature understanding of the problem of humanity.

3. The hope that one can bet on survival in a world nuclear war is absurd.

The hegemon, intensifying economic and military-political bullying against unwanted international resource actors, provokes in them defensive reactions that are dangerous and dead-end for the whole world.

4. All calculations of the hegemon until now have been associated with the economic humiliation and destruction of Russia. These hopes were not realized. Therefore, the Hegemon gradually began to enter the NATO and conventional (non-nuclear) path of war throughout Russia using its emerging American bridgehead – Ukraine. Russia responded with plans for non-conventional defense, since NATO forces are significantly superior in the conventional form of war. How cunningly and delicately the hegemon managed to provoke and push Russia into a conventional form of conflict with NATO is a problem for military historians. The hegemon will not be able to be a distant and comfortable observer overseas.

5. The hegemon must thoroughly transform its essence, since it is he who is the source of the above problem, which was tested in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Only the USA has this experience. And this worldwide nuclear infection came from him!

6. I really want all the problems I outlined above to be discussed at the BRICS summit, which will be held soon in Kazan! This is important for the survival of all humanity!

Stress therapy and education of the hegemon is just beginning!
