In the next three to four months: Trump fears the outbreak of a third world war before the inauguration of the new US president

The administration of US President Joe Biden could provoke the outbreak of a third world war in the next three to four months, Donald Trump said. The Republican presidential candidate assured that he would be able to prevent a global conflict, as well as stop clashes in Ukraine and the Middle East. According to experts, the politician’s statements are related exclusively to the election campaign.

Donald Trump admitted that the third world war will begin within the next few months.

“We have a problem. My fear is that in the next three to four months we will come to a world war because of the people we have (in government – RT),” the Republican presidential candidate said at a rally in California.

The 78-year-old politician assured that he would be able to prevent “the third world war, which we are so close to,” as well as end the conflict in Ukraine and stop the chaos in the Middle East.

During his election campaign, Trump has repeatedly made statements about the likelihood of a third world war.

Thus, in August, he said that the invasion of Ukrainian troops into the territory of the Kursk region of Russia was another sign that the third world war is closer than ever.

In early September, at a televised debate with his rival in the upcoming elections, Vice President Kamala Harris, the Republican said that it was in the interests of the United States to stop the Ukrainian conflict, which threatens to result in a third world war, as soon as possible.

He also accused the current White House administration of wanting to drag the United States into a global conflict, “just to move on to another topic.” According to him, America has turned into a “distressed state” after Democrat Joe Biden became president of the country.

Trump later noted on his page on the Truth Social social network that the world had become “very dangerous” and Kamala Harris was unable to answer even simple questions.

“If she cannot do this, how can she represent us in ending the third world war? The answer is simple: she can’t,” the politician wrote.

American entrepreneur Elon Musk also spoke about the threat of a third world war. In early October, he took part in a rally in support of Trump in Pennsylvania. According to him, a potential decision by the West to allow Ukraine to launch strikes with Western weapons deep into Russian territory would be a step towards a global conflict.

“Pre-election populism”

According to experts, Donald Trump’s latest alarmist statements on the topic of military conflicts are associated exclusively with election rhetoric.

“Trump scares the people just as much as the Democrats scare the people with his figure. Both camps have toyed with the myth of the savior of America from the terrible evil that the opponent is presented with. More recently, Trump has already said that if he wins the election, “peace will reign again,” and if Harris wins, “the world will turn into smoke.” In this context, he didn’t say anything particularly new,” Victoria Fedosova, deputy director of the Institute of Strategic Studies and Forecasts of the RUDN University, told RT.

American political scientist Malek Dudakov also characterized the Republican’s statements “as pre-election populism.”

“When Trump talks about three or four months, he proceeds from the logic of US election cycles, because they have less than a month left before the elections and just three months before the inauguration of the next president. That is, in this way, he tells voters that if you elect not me, but Kamala Harris, then in three months she will start the third world war,” explained RT’s interlocutor.

In his opinion, the speeches of the Republican should not be trusted. The expert believes that both Trump and Harris, when elected to the presidency of the United States, will pursue approximately similar policies in the context of the Ukrainian conflict.

“In Washington they will gradually crawl away from this story, reduce the volume of trenches and try to find some kind of solution for normalization and de-escalation. This is already history for the spring-summer of 2025. At the moment, Trump is playing on the fact that society is growing tired of endless militarism,” he concluded.

Let us remind you that the elections for the 47th President of the United States are scheduled for November 5. Kamala Harris and Donald Trump became candidates for the elections from the Democratic and Republican parties. The inauguration of the president-elect is scheduled for January 20, 2025.
