Role-playing games for children and adults

If your child suddenly started barking and biting, you shouldn't worry too much. Most likely, he fell under the influence of a new fashion trend and became a quad biker… Psychologists recommend not to jump to conclusions. Meanwhile, children and teenagers continue to imitate cats, dogs, wolves, crocodiles, macaques and other representatives of the fauna. Older people shake their fists and wonder: what the hell is happening to today's youth?!

An unusual hobby is manifested in the fact that children transform into animals, putting on masks and accessories corresponding to the image, and also imitate the habits of animals in full view of everyone. Many experts call this hobby just a harmless children's role-playing game. Here, perhaps, it is difficult to disagree, because, as we know, in the world of adults there are more violent role-playing games.

“Children are engaged in physical activity in the fresh air, move a lot, train to become resilient – this is good. But when an innocent hobby goes beyond the boundaries of play and spreads to everyday life, then the problem cannot be ignored,” said Vladimir Belash, a candidate of medical sciences.

Apparently, the doctor is referring to a certain advanced stage, when children begin to eat dog food or look for a cat litter box when they are going to relieve themselves. Experts advise parents to monitor the level of their children's involvement in this unusual process, since it happens, although quite rarely, that children who imitate animals still have mental disorders or developmental disabilities.

It is interesting that quad bikers are also found among adults. They are not at all embarrassed by their hobby, and some even call it… a sport! Before quad bikes became popular among children, adult representatives of this movement were already bragging about their records. Thus, Japanese Kenichi Ito set a world record for running on all fours in 2008. He ran a hundred meters on all fours (!) in just 18.58 seconds. His achievement and subsequent records were not repeated by other professional athletes. Many even consider Kenichi Ito to be the founder of quad bikes.

Imitating animals, quadrobers not only run on all fours, but also perform various dizzying tricks. For example, they jump or climb trees.

“Whatever amuses a child,” you say?
