Premier League 2024-2025: What’s the largest points deficit overcome in title races?

Premier League league-leader Liverpool is on course to win its first title in over four years this campaign. The Reds currently have 67 points, while second-placed Arsenal trails behind by 13 points at 54, having played a game less.
With just 11 games left this season for the Gunners, it appears that the title race is a foregone conclusion, but history suggests that larger point gaps have been overhauled.
But for that to happen, Liverpool will need to start losing steam, allowing Arsenal to find its way to close the gap to the top.
The Gunners have done this before, 27 years ago during the 1997-1998 Premier League season, when they overcame a 13-point deficit against Manchester United in the title race.
