Fabulous county Devonshire

County Devonshire can rightfully be called fabulous. Rare beauty houses, with love decorated with flowers and curly plants, create the illusion of fairy tales. In the county, everyone is concerned about the problem of ecology, and therefore landscaping and construction from environmental materials are very developed. The roofs are covered with reeds. Local houses a little reminiscent of Ukrainian fuel oils with front gardens in front of the house.
A lot of rivers flow through the territory of the county. Nevertheless, most of the territory of Devonshire is occupied by the National Parks Dartmur and Exmur or is rural, with a low population density for England. In the county there is a natural object of the UNESCO World Heritage – part of the Jurassic coast of the Dorset and the Eastern Devon.
Devonshire (or Devon), located in the southwest of England, is considered the third largest county of the country.
In England, hiking is very common. The road network is well developed here, the village hotels are enough, so you can go to some railway station in the County of Devonshire and slowly for a walk for several days, having passed a couple of tens of kilometers.
After the railway was laid through Devon in the 19th century, coastal resorts began to flourish in the county – which both the local soft climate and the historical heritage together with marvelous nature contributed. At this time, tourism is becoming good support for the Devonian economy.
A large area of Devonshire is occupied by national parks. And the main article of the income of the county is tourism. In the 19th century, after the construction of the railway, along which, incidentally, the heroes of Conan Doyle Sir Henry and Dr. Watson arrived, coastal tourism was developed.
You could hear the name of Devon in geology – the scientist Adam Sedzhvik in honor of Devonshire named one of the geological eras. And the coast of the Eastern Devonus is the only place in England, which is protected by UNESCO as a Jurassic coast. The “Jurassic Park” watched? The dinosaur bones were one of the first to find here.
The capital of Devona is the city of exeter, and the largest city of the county is Plymouth, which is called “the most welcome city in Britain.” It was from Plymouth that the famous journey of pilgrim fathers to North America on the ship The MayFlower began in 1620. Today Plymouth is a city of dreams for lovers of beach holidays and water sports.
But in Devonshire, not only large cities are of interest. Rural spaces are rightfully called fabulous.
When looking at these houses, there really is a feeling that you are in a fairy tale.
The famous writer Agatha Christie was once born in this county.
The buildings here are all rare beauty, lovingly decorated with curly plants and flowers.
Like all the British, the inhabitants of the county think about ecology – their future, unlike us, is very worried. Everything is made of environmental materials, and the roof is covered with reeds.
