27 attractions that you need to have time to visit until it is too late

UNESCO representatives regularly hold meetings, within the framework of which they decide which attractions will be added to the list of facilities under threat.
According to UNESCO, there are currently 55 objects under threat. Here are some of the most noticeable ones that you need to have time to visit until they disappeared from the face of the earth.
Large barrier reef, Belize. Under the threat since 2009.
This system is a habitat for some marine species that are under threat of disappearance. Problems arise due to the excessive use of marine resources, the development of coastal regions, tourism, the development of industry and the development of oil and gas fields.
Everglaids National Park, USA. Under the threat since 2010.
This place was called a “green river stirring from the depths of the country to the sea.” The exceptional variety of water habitats made it a house for a large number of birds, reptiles and species that are under threat of disappearance. But the park is in danger due to reducing the scale of its aquatic ecosystem.
Bagrata Cathedral and Gelati Monastery in Kutaisi, Georgia. Under the threat since 2010.
The cathedral is a great example of Georgian medieval architecture. But there is a serious problem associated with the reconstruction, which, according to UNESCO, will undermine the integrity and authenticity of this work of architectural art.
Chang-chan, Peru. Under the threat since 1986.
National Park Komoe, cat-d'Ivoire. By threat since 2003.
The park was included in the World Heritage List in 2003, due to the potential impact of civil riots, reducing the population of large mammals due to uncontrolled poaching and lack of an effective management mechanism.
The abandoned ghost city Hamberstone, Chile. Under the threat since 2005.
Robbery, destruction and lack of maintenance threatened the existence of this place.
A complex of buildings of the Liverpool port, Great Britain. Under the threat since 2012.
The complex of buildings of the Liverpool Port was placed in the list of World Heritage Heritage, due to the proposed large-scale re-profiling of historical berth north of the city center.
The tropical forests of the province of Atzinanan, Madagascar. Under threat since 2007.
These relict forests are critically important for maintaining current environmental processes necessary for the survival of the unique biodiversity of Madagascar. The key management issues are effective control over the agricultural invasion and the use of forest resources for logging, hunting and extraction of precious stones.
The basilica of the Nativity of Christ and the path of pilgrims, Bethlehem, Palestine. Under the threat since 2012.
The roof structure of the main church is very vulnerable due to the lack of maintenance and repair. And a sharp increase in the number of vehicles and the development of industry in the historical city caused environmental pollution, which negatively affects the facades of the Christmas Church and buildings along the pilgrimage route.
Medieval monuments, Kosovo. Under the threat since 2004.
Orthodox monasteries Kosovo were under the threat of disappearance, for the most part due to long-term hostilities in the region.
Potoshi, Bolivia. At risk since 2014.

Old city, Jerusalem, Israel. Under the threat since 1982.

The ancient city of Hatra, or El Hadr, Iraq. Under the threat since 2015.
Jamic minaret, Afghanistan. Under the threat since 2002.
The old part of the dignity, Yemen. Under the threat since 2015.
